Highfield Farm Touring Park
Website: www.highfieldfarmtouringpark.co.uk
The East of England is well known for its distinctively flat landscape, and it's hard to get a better sense of 'big sky country' than at Highfield Farm.
The three touring areas are sheltered by tall, mature, hedging. Otherwise, there is little else between you, the countryside, and big skies.
This sense of space is enhanced by the layout of the pitches, mainly around the perimeter of the site, which leaves expanses of well-kept flat grass areas for everyone to enjoy. And, this site is organised into three areas: one for families; another for adults-only; and yet another for tent campers, so all can enjoy the type of holiday they want.
On arrival, you'll receive a friendly welcome from the owners Brian and Lorraine Chapman who keep the site in superb order and perfectly maintained. Around the site there is plenty of beautiful countryside for walkers and cyclists to explore. Also, the old village of Comberton is only six miles from Cambridge. Cambridge Shakespeare Festival (10 July – 19 August):
