Ord House Country Park
Website: www.ordhouse.co.uk

Close to the Scottish border, Ord House is one of England's most northerly parks, near the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The approach is easy, with clear signposts leading drivers from the A1 through the small village of East Ord.
A commodious 18th-century manor house is home to the bar, restaurant and family room, which has a ball pool and soft play area. A child-free lounge area makes for a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for adults.
On site, there is a well-stocked accessory shop, while for everyday provisions, the small grocery store and post office are adjacent to the entrance to Ord House. You'll find a pub in East Ord.
This is a very grand park, with well-spaced pitches and beautiful, mature, trees which add a lot of character to the location. Anyone who stays here will enjoy the beautiful countryside from what is a very comfortable site.
 • 1.5 miles to The Ramparts in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Here, you will find a remarkably complete system of medieval fortifications with gateways, curtain walls and projecting bastions.
