This attractive site, on the outskirts of Milford-on-Sea, is well maintained, peaceful and set over eight acres of parkland. There are three touring areas: one with grass pitches on a slight slope, more suitable for tents than motorhomes; and two flat areas with hardstanding, fully serviced, pitches.
Lytton Lawn is part of a group which also manages Shorefield Country Park, 2.5 miles away. This has the full leisure facilities that you will not find at Lytton Lawn, and admission is included in Lytton's site fee. This gives you the best of both worlds: a peaceful site and, nearby, all the leisure facilities you could want.
The lively seaside resort of Bournemouth is not far away, but be prepared for heavy traffic during peak season. Lymington is a short drive to the east, and from here you can take a ferry to the Isle of Wight.
 • 45 miles to the Spinnaker Tower which soars 170 metres into the sky above Portsmouth harbour. Take the panoramic lift, or the high-speed internal lift to the top and feel the wind in your hair on the 'Crow's Nest'. There is also a glass floor to cross, if you dare.
