Set on a cliff-top above the sandy, serene and beautiful beach at Harlyn Bay, this is a real family site. And it benefits from a wide choice of seaside destinations. Seven glorious beaches surround the site –
one for each day of the week.
The site itself has plenty of amenities for a family holiday. These include a club house, restaurant, launderette, heated indoor pool, take-away service and all of the facilities you would expect from a family holiday park.
There are many static holiday homes here with the touring area set centrally among them. Pitches are tightly packed alongside each other, hence the motorhome size restriction being set at a maximum of
21ft. Anything of this size, or larger, would be just about impossible to position on a pitch. In fact, an average 16ft caravan with an awning and a car completely fills a pitch. All pitches are supplied with a 16A hook-up and the toilet and showering facilities are in excellent condition. They are all beautifully tiled and finished to a high standard, and the laundry area is well-maintained, too. Attached to the reception is a small shop that has the usual basic provisions and newspapers, and behind that there is a large, clean, children's play area. The clubhouse and restaurant (which is at present being extended) can supply you with pub-grub meals and a
take-away service is available. Behind the clubhouse is the indoor, heated, splash and swimming pool, which is a superb facility to have, especially when it's raining outside. The pool, which carries an extra charge, has lifeguards on duty at all times.
The minimum stay is two nights, and during school holidays pitches are only let from Saturday to Saturday,
for a minimum of seven nights. This is a site that families will enjoy, as Harlyn Sands has plenty to offer to all age groups.
