Just booked for the Reader Rally at end of April and very impressed with the cost at £50 for 5 days, very good value. Decided to stop at Bristol Caravan Club site on the way home and cost for 2 nights was £42.80! Definitely not good value! What do the clubs think they are doing charging such high prices.

Hope to see some of the other forum members there.

Wish we could be there, but unfortunately the "day job" gets in the way of a lot of weekend events for us!

Have a great time anyway.

It's the weekend of the Royal Wedding, Peter.

Type "reader rally" in the search box at the top of the page.

Thanks for the info' Tony. We will definately be going to that. Been to Stowford Meadows years ago with a tent and it's a great site. It doesn't say whether you can book on line though. Will have to have a look in the Mag' and see if theres any info'.

Hi Peter

Not sure about booking online, our email that we received from haymarket had a form attached to post or we actually just rang the number which turned out to be Stowford site. As well as booking the 4 days for £45 you can also book extra nights before or after for £5 per night.

Thanks Baloo, I'll give them a ring. See you there, I'll keep an eye out for the dog. Smile You won't miss our dog, it's a Jack Russell, that's as mad as a hatter and barks it's head off at other dogs regardless of size. Yell

You can book online Here

I had just popped over the fence from Practical Caravan forum next door for a quick browse when I saw the question about Stowford. Laughing

It's possible to book an additional six nights (3 before and 3 after the rally) @ £5 per night including ehu. but you might have to telephone Stowford for the extra nights.
