Hi all, we had a trip to Morocco a couple of years ago and had a great time, we went via Algerciras to Cueta which is in North Africa  but still Spanish and an easy crossing  for the border  into Morocco. So some pictures.

Hi Vindiboy

We just spent a fantastic month touring Morocco in our 1993 Hymer B544. We opted to go independently which saved us loads of money, and gave us the freedom to go where we wanted for as long as we wanted.

Bit disappointed to see so few British vans over there, especially as Europe was having a big freeze and DEFRA changed the Pet Passport scheme so you can now take your dog easily.

We've written a guide about our tour of Morocco with hints and tips, so hopefully more people will head to the amazingly beautiful country. There are details on our website.

I've been to Japan and Portugal and I'm very familiar with the others since I plan to travel to them too. Here's how I would rank them as interesting places to visit:
1. Japan - I strongly encourage you to experience this fascinating culture. It's an amazing country.
2. Morocco
3. Portugal
4. Belize - nice but not that varied, and fairly boring culturally compared to Mexico or Guatemala.
