20 Practical Motorhome readers will be off to the Beale Park Boat and Outdoor Show near Reading in Berkshire – enter today and it could be you!

We’ve got fantastic tickets to the Beale Park Boat and Outdoor Show up for grabs!

So if you’re one of our 20 lucky winners, why not pack the ’van and head away for a fun-filled weekend?

Yes, we really did say 20 winners! We have 20 family tickets to give away, each of which permits entry for two adults and as many under 18s as you want to bring along – dogs can come for free.

Beale Park Boat and Outdoor Show runs between 2 and 4 June 2017 at Beale Park, near Reading in Berkshire. It is open from 10am until 6pm on the first two days, from 10am until 5pm on the Sunday. You can come and go as you please, meaning it is easy to see the area’s other sights, too.

What’s in store?

Whether you are interested in boats or not, there is a huge range of activities and things to see at the show.

Plus, your family ticket also gives you discounted entry to the Beale Park Wildlife Park and Gardens during the show – an attraction in its own right.

Here, you can discover wildlife such as prairie dogs, wallabies, alpacas, deer, exotic birds, raccoons, lemurs and squirrel monkeys!

There are plenty of free boat trips available for all ages, but if you’re more of a landlubber, you can admire the many boats and ships from the riverside. There will be a huge selection of boats: classic, modern, wooden, fibreglass, riverboats and sea-faring boats – even canoes and kayaks.

As well as the huge array of boats and watercraft, there will be an impressive display of classic cars and bikes. Have a classic car? Bring it and display it (for a small extra fee).

In addition, a family area full of fun and games awaits, and there is the chance to learn bushcraft skills and to listen to live music.

There is free parking and even arrival gifts, making this a very affordable opportunity to take the family away on a trip.

Stay in a serene setting

All of this is in a picturesque setting by the lake, backed by the River Thames. You can even make a weekend of it and pitch your motorhome or camper van on the banks of the Thames. The show site has Elsan points, toilets and hot showers (a pitch is not included in this prize).

If you choose to make this part of a longer tour, you can stay at Bridge Villa Camping and Caravan Park, which is a 20-minute drive from the show. Head to the pretty villages of Streatley and Goring on the way for a pub lunch by the river.

Don’t miss out on the area’s many attractions, starting with the National Trust-managed Basildon Park, which is less than a mile from Beale Park. Another must-visit is The Living Rainforest where you can see birds, lizards and monkeys amongst the tropical forest.

To enter for your chance to win one of 20 family tickets to the Beale Park Boat and Outdoor Show, it couldn’t be easier. Just fill in the form below – good luck!
