DID YOU KNOW that you can get into two travel shows for the price of one at Manchester's EventCity this week? If you buy a ticket for the Caravan & Motorhome Show (Thursday, 23 January to Sunday, 26 January), your ticket will also get you into The Times-sponsored Destinations: Holiday and Travel Show, too.

Not only that, but as one of our valued Practical Motorhome readers you can buy your ticket for The Caravan & Motorhome Show online in advance for just £7.00 instead of paying £9.00 per adult on the door. Just visit the show’s website and quote the 'HAY21' discount code when booking.

Thursday to Sunday: 23 to 26 January, 2014

In The Caravan & Motorhome Show we'd love you to pop over to our Practical Motorhome stand to say hello (Hall 2, Stand 1, near Swift's caravan stand and the new 'Great Days Out' stand: see show guide map). Also, for the first time, our Owner Satisfaction Survey Awards ceremony will be open to the public and we’d love to see you there, from 3pm on Thursday, 23 January 2014, the first day of the show.

Portugal at Destinations

Free tastes of wine, cheese and meat from Portugal will be available at Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show

Two travel shows at EventCity this week

Once you've visited the Caravan & Motorhome Show, you can use that same ticket to pop into the Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show in the same venue (also running from Thursday, 23 January until Sunday, 26 January).

Alentejo in Portugal is one of the sponsors of Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show in Manchester and will be offering free samples of wine, cheese and meat from this beautiful region at the show as well!

You can then use your ticket to go back into the Caravan & Motorhome Show again afterwards. (Funnily enough, Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show ticket-holders can't get into the Caravan & Motorhome Show without paying extra, so we feel especially lucky to get two shows for the price of one!)

Spot the celebrity!

TV star Julia Bradbury, President of the Camping and Caravanning Club, will visit Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show on Saturday at 2pm to give a talk.  Michaela Strachan will also be at that show. Meanwhile, it's bubbly Michelle Collins who will open the Caravan & Motorhome Show this Thursday.

Tour further in your motorhome

Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show will feature many tourist boards from around the world, who hope you'll visit in 2014. Motorhomes might not be on their minds, though, so if they don't know where you can go camping in their countries, pop straight back to the Caravan & Motorhome Show, where you'll find a warm welcome and lots of information about motorhome touring abroad.

Manchester will the the first venue for Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show – it travels to London's Earl's Court after that, opening from 6-9 February.
