Why tour here?

Our Nigel Donnelly said:

"The area we had decided to tour is centred around a geological quirk known as the Great Glen Fault. The fault occurred when two of the plates that form the earth's surface slipped, and formed this huge glen. It is over 70 miles long, runs from Inverness on the Moray Firth to Fort William at the head of Loch Linnhe, and cleaves the Scottish Highlands in two."
