Micro caravan owners, or anyone who wants to travel as compactly as possible, will no doubt be interested in this flat-pack kettle from Wacky Practicals.

The Pack-Away Kettle is mostly made from sturdy silicone and although it has a 1.1L capacity, it squashes to a flat 5cm for storage and pops back into shape when needed for use.

The 14.cm diameter base is stainless steel and suitable for use on electric, induction and gas stoves, and a solid plastic handle makes for easy pouring. The whole thing is safe for use at temperatures from −40C to 230C, and it’s dishwasher-safe, too.

The Pack-Away Kettle is available in blue, green and red, for £29.99.
